Hooray! Two new ones!

I have finished the work on 2 ordered dolls from the Dea Vivente Familia mini-series, and now I’m presenting them to you!
As it appeared to be, many people like red ones. Indeed, I adore them myself as well!

The beauty sisters were born to be so different – a fatal modern woman (Taiga #6, on the left in the picture) and a soft Renaissance girl (Taiga #5, on the right in the picture).
A peaceful face, feminine ‘velvety’ body shape and long hair of Taiga #5 make her related to the classical image of Venus.

Though, after seduction lessons given by the sultry woman to the innocent young lady, even softness can ignite with flame!

And then all what is left is being dissolved and entangled in this burning hair, which will devour by its fire!

I’ve applied extensional eyelashes to painted eyes for the first time (for Taiga #6), and I liked such an image as well. I think I will frequently use this addition to dolls’ eyes.
I left these eyelashes long, in their initial state – the future owner will decide as he/she prefers it, and can make them shorter, if necessary. But who can resist a wave of fluffy eyelashes and such a piercing stare from under half-closed eyes?

Also, you may notice that I’ve found a new way for myself to disguise steel wires. They look naturally in this state, and now they don’t attract attention, allowing the view to slide smoothly along the curves of the doll’s body. I’m pleased with the result, and will use this method in future.

Taiga #5 will go on a long journey soon, and the girl with long eyelashes (Taiga #6) due to certain circumstances will not see the owner she was intended for, and now she is searching for careful hands and a new home here, probably will be in time to be put under a Christmas tree.

Painting of the dolls

I’d like to show you the faces of two dolls I’m working on at the moment. This is how they look like after applying two layers of paints. I already like the result, though to breathe life into the dolls, it requires a more detailed painting of eyes, eyebrows and lips, that’s why I‘ll pay a special attention to them in the following layers.

And now I’m back to work with brushes and paints!

Five ones

There will be five ones… But who are they?

As you might guess, I’m talking about the first Dea Vivente Familia mini-series. Two dolls (‘Taiga’ #5 and #6) have already been ordered, and their future owners have decided what they are going to look like. One more doll is more likely to be made by my own design as an illustration of previously unrealized options. Remaining dolls are available for pre-order at this page.

I have cast over a hundred of doll parts for the last September, and now you can look in at the studio and see how comfortably parts of future dolls are lying on shelves when drying, though this photo shows only the part of the work done.

As I work on the series, I will show you how it moves on, especially it will be interesting for those who have already placed orders and wait for their dollies – indeed, they will be the first to work on. So, stay tuned!

The last picture I show is the one I’ve made today after taking shower. I took Vilena in hands and played with her a bit, and I wanted to capture well-turned legs of the doll on my own feet. They often shoot dolls on hands, but what about legs? :-) Well, I’ll be the first then!
By the way, wait for at least one more picture made with feet somewhere in future – suddenly I was struck by an interesting idea!

Announcement of a new doll series – Dea Vivente Familia

I’m receiving letters with questions whether I’m going to make dolls of limited edition for people, not only creating them to my taste.

I don’t like to repeat myself in my work, each doll is unique for me, and I want to experiment constantly to create thorough images. Creative process takes much time, and there cannot be many of such dolls for obvious reasons. Each of them is like a child for me, sometimes capricious and willful, but I cannot leave her until she finds herself and lives her own life.

To make my dolls more affordable, I’ve decided to try a new experimental series – Dea Vivente Familia.

It will represent short series of nude dolls as a part of overall limited edition, gathering successful features of their senior sisters, and certainly will be equal to them by the quality. The overall quantity of dolls of each face mold’s limited edition will stay unchanged.

The doll’s set will include one removable wig of untressed hair without hairstyling (like Dea’s hair and Vilena’s the blond).
The dolls of these series will have the mark Dea Vivente Familia on the back of the head.

The first series of 5 dolls (face mold ‘Taiga’ #4, 5, 6, 7, 8, without face modifications) will resemble Dea, but will be made of the same porcelain material Vilena has been made of, and will have Vilena’s body elemental base. It will be offered to you at a fairly affordable price in 1300 USD.

For Dea Vivente Familia dolls there will be a Pre Order opportunity that gives a customer the right of priority for a doll’s creation, its purchase and shipping right after its completion.
Besides, in case of Pre Order a customer gets an opportunity to choose several options for a doll’s appearance.

‘Taiga’ #3

The work on the previously mentioned doll ‘Taiga’ #3 has appeared to be more experimental and creative than I have planned. I’ve got so carried away by this girl and have decided to create a rich image for her that has been growing up for a long time and has dreamt about its visualization.
I want to show only one of the first sketches with the initial variant of the nude doll.

Right now the idea has evolved far from its origin, and the doll is going to be completely different, however it will be a surprise and you’ll see everything after a while. Nevertheless, the sketch has one detail of the image that is going to stay in the new doll – you can fantasize which one exactly 😉
Most likely this doll will stay with me to participate in a future exhibition.

Auction is closed and Vilena stays at home for a while

A new section, Dolls for sale, is now open at the site, where the dolls available for sale will be exhibited.
Considering that our auction doesn’t have a winner, Vilena has moved to this section for the permanent exhibition , where she can be purchased with the fixed price.

I’m planning to finish the next Dea Vivente (“Taiga” #3) in several weeks, and to start a new auction for her. For more details, you can check the section How to buy.

Besides, I would like to show you some unpublished photographs that have been taken during the working process on Vilena.
Especially, I like this photo, since Vilena looks here even more like a real living woman. It was taken during the hairstyling of the red wig.

My little but very courageous helpers are ready for the war for quality. =)
Undeservedly, they rarely become main characters in photos, that’s why I want to remedy this situation in acknowledgement of their contribution to my work.

Vilena here is just after the assembling on my working desk waiting for a trip outdoor for a photo-session.
